Training in Choices
Earlier this year I read a book called “Choice Theory” by William Glasser that confirmed some of my personal beliefs, reinforced these beliefs, and solidified my outlook on life. Reading the book made such a big difference that I decided to sign up for a basic week of training with the William Glasser Institute through an instructor in Vancouver. I have now completed the first half of the training and it has only confirmed my belief in what I originally read in Glasser’s book.
Upcoming series
After I finish the course I plan on writing a series of posts to outline the theory that Glasser and his colleague Robert Wubbolding have put forward. I am inviting you to join me in these posts and discussions about Choice Theory and Reality Therapy by grabbing a copy of either “Choice Theory” or “Reality Therapy for the 21st Century” and joining me here in a few weeks. You can also check out the William Glasser Institute for more information.
Who should join the discussion?
Choice theory has so many applications I think anyone would benefit from reading one of the books and joining the conversation here on Sunday Night Success, but if you are a teacher, counselor, or especially a coach I think his theory is especially relevant. So, please come and join the conversation.
I look forward to sharing these ideas with those who join me.
I thought I would give your blog a read. I think it is absolutely fabulous!
I am one of the instructors for the Institute. I’m so pleased to here you love the concepts. They have changed my life. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help in your journey. I am involved in many things but they all are supported by Choice Theory. https://www.kimolver.com
Thank you Kim, if I have any questions I will definitely ask. Hopefully you will have the time to join the conversation once I get my posts written about my choice theory training.
